Civilization IV: Evolved or Dodo Dead

I open my eyes after a sudden slumber, and find myself in a chair within a room. The walls are plastered with posters, as the scent of coffee and cake fill the air. I seem to be surrounded by a few others, some young, some older, one old crone with an evil glint in her eye. I open my palm to find a paper that says : "No more Turns! an end to the 'One More Turn' Syndrome!" The common sense jolts to mind as I realise where I am. DAMN!!!!!! IM BACK IN CIVANON!!!!!!!!

Civilization IV is the fourth installment of Sid Mier's classic TBS game, where player's attemp to control the world with their own civilization and leaders. They can choose the more peaceful route of a Diplomatic Victory or a Cultral Dommination. Or, the path of the closed fist, a Conquest Victory, wraught with Panzers, Navy SEALS and ICBMs. (Not IMDBs)

The game, in one word, is ADDICTIVE. Many a nights have I found myself awake pressing that 'Enter' key, into the next turn and the next turn and thenext and the next............

It never ends for strategy fans, whether the different paths of victory, the different levels of gameplay, or the uniqueness of each game that makes sure you never play the same game twice.

The graphics are nice, the BGM is blissful and the controls (For the Lazy) are simple and easy. Although a 45 minute tutorial may throw some people (Wussies) off, this is a recomend to gamers who shy away from the violence and the Ancients. Solid gameplay equals a solid 9 from me.

As I lean back in my chair, sipping my coffee and munching my chocolate cake, I calmly saitand wait. wait for the next member to enter through the doble doors in front of me. The doors that lead to Civilization Anonymous.
