The Review of The Saboteur

YAY! Got a PS3 +2 games, this is the first one.

/start review/

This is the review of he PS3 game, The Saboteur.

/start intro/

The Saboteur is an open world game where you play Sean Devlin, an Irish stuck in Paris during the Second World War. It was developed by Pandemic Studios and EA.

/end intro/

/start pros/

The game has a heavy stylized feel, with Paris as the backdrop of this luscious game. The Will to Fight system, which affects Nazis and civilians creates an artistic view in areas. Buildings and streets will be mono chromed with low morale, while vibrant colors will flow where high Will to Fight exist. The Perk system is neat, along with the system that guns will be free from any gun salesman if you have already collected/bought them. this is the same for cars.

/end pros/

/start cons/

Where do I begin the rant.....hmm........lack of auto focus, poor quality graphics, accents as poor as a dying animal, a storyline so vague and bland it makes Pong seem like a story masterpiece, the game just doesn't give a sense of satisfaction when you gun down the Nazis or blow up towers.........in other words, IT SUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

/end cons/

/start final score/

6.5/10
Tempted to give it a 5 or 4, but the games artistic design pulls it from the depths of hell.

The Review of Art Attack

Hi my 1 reader! Late post cause been busy with class book.

/start review/

This is the review for Art Attack, an art program on TV for kids.

/start intro/

Art Attack was a children TV program from the UK that ran from 1990 to 2007. The TV presenter was Neil Buchanan, who was one the show for its entire run.

/end intro/

/start pros/

The show was the first of its kind, dedicated to art for children in a television program. The humor was good and enjoyable as well as the finished artworks done by Neil. The most memorable part of Art Attack, besides The Head, was Neil's Big Art Attack in the middle of every episode. It involved Neil working on an art piece on a huge scale, like making a portrait of The Queen with dollar bills. They were always impressive and picturous, making Art Attack very successful.

/end pros/

/start cons/

Now, for all those who actually tried to make any of the art pieces at home, repeat after me. I WAS LIED TO!!!!!!!! Did any of u actually get a good art piece? No, no, NO!!!!! 2 part water and 1 part PVA glue is a lie!!!!!!

/end cons/

/start final score/

8/10. A bloody marvelous and brilliant show. Its a shame that its finally gone.....

The Review of the First Day of School

It's back to school (for some) and I went back to help, so here's my review of the events that took place.

/start review/

This is the review of the First Day of School, 4th of Jan 2010, St Andrew's Secondary School.

/start intro/

The first day of school in St Andrew's normally begins with the crossover (more like run, fall and break leg- over) in the school field with all three schools in attendance. HOWEVER, today was wet weather program, and this review will be on how it was handled.

/end intro/

/start pros/

The day was kinda ruined with the rain, but the switch was fast from the field to the school hall. Not as boring as the other first day ceremonies, and it was in a AIR-CON hall!.............oh and free food........

/end pros/

/start cons/

Well, IT RAINED! And, well, the wet weather program that is to replace a whole spectacle of running children and bands playing is just a prayer and a talk. THAT'S IT???? Nothing else special???? No poppers, no streamers, no damn bears in tutus on unicycles?????? Oh and they just SHOVED all the parents at the back, everyone single one of them, FOR WHAT??!!!

/end cons/

/start final score/

6.5/10. Saved by my silly and fun juniors, Shint, YK, Ryan Foo Foo, and the rest (HAHA).

The Review of Royce Chocolates: Sweet and Milk

Hi all, got hungry and decided to do a review of Royce chocolates which I picked up from Japan for about 550 Yen.

/start review/

This is the review of Royce' Pure Chocolates: Sweet & Milk.

/start intro/

Royce Pure Chocolates are chocolate pieces of 5g in weight with a wave design on one side. The product has many different flavors, but this review will cover the Sweet and Milk Chocolate pieces. The proper technique is to eat it wave side down.

/end intro/

/start pros/

The Sweet Chocolate piece, otherwise known as bittersweet chocolate, has a luscious taste of sweet and bitter tones. The aroma is not too underwhelming, and the texture is smooth. The Milk Chocolate piece has a lovely taste and a balanced flavor that is hard to find in most milk chocolates.

/end pros/

/start cons/

This is a chocolate, not a damn potato chip! You don't need waves on the chocolate, cause it does jackshit. The ribs on the chocolate are as useful as the ribs on the ribbed condom, just for deco and doesn't enhance the experience. The chocolate piece itself is fragile, and too much force will result in a broken up piece of chocolate in ur mouth, spoiling the overall taste. The Milk Chocolate piece has a lack of an aroma and the Sweet Chocolate piece may be too bitter for normal eaters who don't enjoy bitter chocolates.

/end cons/

/start final score/

Milk Chocolate piece: 7/10. The flavor of the chocolate excels past most other milk chocolates, but the flaws of the chocolate piece itself pulls down the score.

Sweet Chocolate piece: 8/10.(only if you like bitter chocolate, 7/10 if you don't) The flavor is perfected and just wondrous, however it suffers from the same problem as the milk chocolate piece, which is the chocolate piece itself.

The Review of Vince Guaraldi's Christmas Time Is Here

Hey Monkeys, this is the first official review. Since it's after Christmas (Like 9 days), I decided to do a belated Christmas object review.

/start review/

Hi everyone, this is the review for the music piece by Vince Guaraldi, Christmas Time Is Here.

/start intro/

Vince Guaraldi's Christmas Time Is Here is a jazz piece with piano, drums and the double bass. It was introduced in the debut of 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' in 1965. It was played just after the opening credits, and has an acoustic version and a vocals version.

/end intro/

/start pros/

This is a perfect example of a Christmas classic, not only does it soothe the mind and body, but it has high repeat value and the feel of Christmas in the city. The acoustic version has a lovely mellow tune to it, and the vocals version portrays the true innocence of Christmas.

/end pros/

/start cons/

Let's be honest here. The vocals suck. SUCK! If I wanted to hear children sing like crap, I would have just watched any Disney musical but this is just bullshit! Off time and screechy, it just hurts the song like Gonorrhea hurts when you pee. The acoustic is, to be honest, very plain and could have used a nicer solo by the double bass. But the vocals, EUGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

/end cons/

/start final score/

Final scores are:

Acoustics Version: 8/10. It's slow and mellow theme gives the reason for it's simplicity and the jazz trio are just heavenly.

Vocals Version: 6.5/10. Tip for any genius planning to play this at a caroling session: Get the jazz trio and kill the kids. Replace with free candy to eat.
